Jazmine Mahler
Academic Director/Adjunct Professor
Jazmine is a prospective graduate student at Alverno College receiving a Master's of Science in Community Psychology. She attended University of Wisconsin-Parkside for her undergraduate studies and graduated with her BS in Psychology. Before entering the mental health field she worked in Education as a teacher for 3 years and first year teacher Coach where she partnered with schools in the Milwaukee Area to help first year and returning teachers facilitate behavior, curriculum, classroom management and rapport skills. After leaving that role she served as a group counselor at a child and adolescent day treatment facility that helped adolescents and teens with significant behavior and mental health issues.
A few populations she has experience specializing in: Adolescent and Teens, Trauma Therapy (Grief, Loss Racism), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Person-Centered Therapy, Major Life Transitions, Mindfulness Based Therapy, Coaching, Self-Esteem and Sound Therapy.

Jamia Bryant
Provost/Adjunct Professor
With 9 years of experience in the mental health field, Jamia is a dedicated Christian therapist, holding certifications as an SAC-IT and LPC-A. Her professional journey reflects a deep commitment to advocating for mental health, especially among youth and adolescents, while working to break the stigmas surrounding mental health.
Graduating from Alverno College in 2020 with a Master’s degree in Community Psychology and Professional Counseling, Jamia has demonstrated exceptional skills in communication, problem-solving, advocacy, and organizational development. Her educational background has equipped her with effective strategies for strengthening client/therapist relationships and navigating the mental health community.
Jamia is also the founder of Spirit of Counsel, her private practice where she integrates her faith with her therapeutic approach, offering holistic support and guidance to her clients.

Dr. Lee Threats holds the position of Secretary to the President at Jacob's Ladder Bible College, where he contributes his extensive knowledge and expertise. He is a prolific author, having written over 300 ebooks, with 281 currently available on, showcasing his dedication to disseminating valuable insights teachings. Furthermore, Dr. Threats is a committed Freemason, exemplifying his dedication to personal development and community engagement.

My name is Angela and for more than 20 years I have excelled in managing business operations across diverse settings. I specialize in sales and marketing, with expertise in high impact plans and goals to ensure market expansion and profitability. Throughout my career, I have led in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and educational services sectors, where I applied my skillset and work ethic to achieve all objectives.
Whether it is recruiting and developing top performing teams, strategizing corporate initiatives with executive members or fostering rich relationships with partners and stakeholders, I can deliver. I pride myself on my ability to shine in demanding, fast paced positions requiring consummate business acumen. Previously, I managed large teams of sales professionals and proudly secured $5M+ in new revenue. I take a big picture approach to assessing needs and adopting meaningful changes in day-to-day workflow for cross-functional business units. For example, during my 11 year term with Progressive Learning, I redesigned the agency and structured it to function similar to a pharmaceutical sales team - generating record-setting growth.

I am currently a Policy Initiatives Administrator, Senior Policy Advisor, at the State of Wisconsin , Division of Medicaid. I am also a licensed clinical social worker, writer, trainer, business owner, and psychotherapist. Former Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, at the Helen Bader School of Social Welfare. I am also the President of Dean’s Clinical Solutions, LLC, which provides training workshops, consultation, clinical supervision, and assessments, among other services. My specialty is healthcare, mental health and African Americans with an emphasis on black women. I have written several articles on topics such as black girls and sexual abuse and race-based trauma.
